Bargarh: The World AIDS Day was observed at Panchayat Samiti Degree College in Jharbandh, Bargarh district, chaired by Jagyaseni Nayak, Head of the Education Department.Gagan Bihari Dansana, the Head of the English Department, served as the esteemed chief guest for the occasion and emphasized the responsibilities of students in building a healthy society.Dr. Sunil Nayak served as the keynote speaker, emphasizing the significance of maintaining optimal health and well-being.Drawing and debate competitions were held in celebration of World AIDS Day. Dolphin Suna, a lecturer from the Department of Education, emphasized the importance of raising awareness in society regarding this issue. The winners of the competitions included Jiten Barik, Anita Sahu, Namitha Chiragun, Manoj Meher, and Tikeswar Sahu. Additionally, Khemswar Bhoi, Sunil Patel, Tajesh Satnami, Jyoti Sahu, and Manisha Sahu were recognized for their achievements in various competitions organized for Constitution Day. The meeting was conducted by Naveen Kumar Meher, the Head of the Economics Department.
